Abrar Riaz

Abrar Riaz is a Research Scholar currently active at Uniklinik RWTH Aachen and Forschungszentrum Jülich since November 2021, as well as at the University of Pennsylvania until June 2024. Riaz holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Medicine with a focus on Psychiatry, Psychotherapy, and Psychosomatics from both RWTH Aachen University and the University of Pennsylvania, expected to complete in September 2024. Previous experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at the National Research University — Higher School of Economics and various positions in psychology, including Career Counselor at AFAQ and Assistant Psychologist at Beaconhouse Newlands. Riaz has an academic background in psychology, cognitive sciences, and neuroscience from institutions including Government College University, Lahore, and the University of the Punjab.
