Dominique Hamel

Dominique Hamel, MSc, CPA, is a highly experienced professional currently serving as Principal at the Accounting Standards Board (AcSB) since July 2023. In addition to this role, Dominique has been a Lecturer at HEC Montréal since August 2015, teaching courses on accounting for cultural institutions and the presentation of accounting information. Previous positions include Manager of Accounting Research at Intact from April 2017 to June 2023, Auditor in Financial Markets & Treasury at National Bank of Canada from August 2013 to March 2017, and various research and assistant roles at institutions such as Harvard Business School and KPMG. Dominique earned a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance with Distinction from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from HEC Montréal.
