Gary Poon

Gary Poon has worked in various roles throughout their career. From 2007 to 2009, they worked as an Investment Analyst at Aon Hewitt. Gary then joined HEABC in 2009, where they served as a Research Analyst from 2009 to 2010, an Economist from 2010 to 2011, and finally as the Director of Research & Knowledge Management from 2011 to 2015. Since 2015, Gary has been employed at Fraser Health Authority, starting as the Chief Data Steward from 2015 to 2017, then as the Director of People Informatics & Systems from 2017 to 2020, and currently as the Executive Director of People Informatics & Systems and Data Management.

Gary Poon completed their Bachelor's degree in Economics from Simon Fraser University in 2005. Gary then pursued a Master's degree in Economics from the same institution and graduated in 2006.
