Katie Geoghegan

Katie Geoghegan has a diverse and extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Katie is currently employed as the Director Asset Risk Quality - Technical Services at Fraser Health Authority since July 2023. Prior to that, they were the Principal Consultant / Owner of Katie Geoghegan Advisory from November 2021. Katie also served as a Project Manager at the City of Vancouver from September 2022 to July 2023. Additionally, Katie has held positions such as Chair at the Canadian Network of Asset Managers from May 2021 to May 2022, Asset Management Specialist at Associated Engineering from October 2019 to November 2021, and Manager, Advisory, Asset & Operations Management at KPMG Canada from September 2017 to September 2019. Katie also worked as a Manager, Asset Management and an Intern, Strategy & Operations (Masters Program) at the City of Regina from May 2015 to August 2017 and from September 2014 to April 2015 respectively. Katie's earlier experiences include being a Coordinator/Analyst, Program Evaluation at the Ministry of Social Services, Government of Saskatchewan from January 2014 to August 2014, and a Business Analyst: Asset Management and Supply Chain Solutions at Devon Energy from February 2011 to July 2013.

Katie Geoghegan pursued a Master of Public Administration (MPA) degree in Public Administration from the University of Regina from 2013 to 2015. Prior to that, they studied Management Information Systems at the University of Calgary, earning a Bachelor of Commerce degree from 2008 to 2010. Katie also completed coursework in Public Affairs and Policy Management at Carleton University from 2006 to 2008 before transferring to the University of Calgary. In terms of additional certifications, they obtained the Change Practitioner certification from Prosci in 2016, and they also completed the Asset Management certification from the Institute of Asset Management (IAM), although the year is unspecified.
