Shanley Camara

Shanley Camara started working at Maprisk (an Insurity company) in November 2020 as a Geographic Information Systems Intern. In this role, they gathered and wrangled geospatial data, digitized and edited data using QGIS, and provided assistance to the GIS team with customer requests and data fixes. Shanley continued working at Insurity in December 2021 as a Data Engineer on the Geospatial team. Their responsibilities included obtaining, organizing, and mapping demographic and geographic data, communicating with vendors and data contacts, managing databases, and researching methods for improving metadata and storage systems. In March 2023, Shanley joined Fraym as an Associate Analyst. No end dates were provided for their roles at Fraym and Insurity.

Shanley Camara received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Data Science from the University of New England from 2018 to 2022. In addition, Shanley obtained certifications in Wilderness First Responder and CPR from SOLO (Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities) in May 2022.
