Stephanie Dobersch

Stephanie Dobersch is an accomplished professional in the field of molecular biology with extensive experience in cancer research and healthcare advocacy. Currently serving on the Editorial Board for Frontiers in Pharmacology since November 2023, Dobersch also holds the position of Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at Fred Hutch, where the focus is on developing in vivo models to address vulnerabilities in basal pancreas cancer. As the founder of Careletics, a healthcare blog established in April 2018, Dobersch promotes healthy lifestyle choices. Previous roles include serving as a Topic Editor for a research topic on "Therapeutic Targeting of Splicing Variants in Cancer" at Frontiers in Pharmacology from August 2022 to April 2023, and conducting research as a graduate intern at Harvard Medical School in 2014. Dobersch obtained a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Max-Planck Institute for Heart and Lung Research and holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Justus Liebig University Giessen.
