Keith A. Smith

Keith A. Smith is a seasoned professional in strategic investment management, currently serving as Senior Director Governance Lead in the Office of the President at Freddie Mac since April 2023. Prior to this, Smith held various roles at Fannie Mae from September 1999 to June 2022, culminating in the position of Director of the Enterprise Project Management Office, where responsibility included establishing an organization for governance oversight and managing a strategic initiative portfolio with over $600 million in annual funding. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Auditor at PricewaterhouseCoopers from September 1997 to September 1999, where Smith prepared audit reports and addressed internal control weaknesses. Smith holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of the District of Columbia.
