Kevin P. Kearns has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and positions. Kevin P. has worked at the State University of New York at Fredonia since 2007, starting as the Associate Provost, Graduate Studies and Research, and President of SUNY Fredonia Technology Incubator Inc. Kevin P. then served as the Interim Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs before becoming the Vice President for Engagement and Economic Development. Kevin P. later took on the role of Vice President for Advancement, Engagement, and Economic Development. Currently, they serve as the Special Assistant to the President for Strategic Initiatives and as a Professor and Director at the Fredonia Program Evaluation Center. Prior to their time at SUNY Fredonia, Kevin worked at MGH Institute of Health Professions as a Program Director, Professor, and Academic Dean/Provost (Interim) and at Northeastern University as the Chair and Associate Professor of the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Department.
Kevin P. Kearns earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the University at Buffalo in 1974. Kevin P. then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Communication Disorders at Saint Louis University from 1974 to 1975. Subsequently, Kevin obtained a Ph.D. in Speech-Language Pathology from The University of Kansas, completing their doctoral studies in 1979.
