Jodom Mwebi

Jodom Mwebi is an experienced professional in the fields of law and human rights, with a career spanning over a decade. Most recently, Jodom served as the East and Central Africa Coordinator for Free the Slaves from January 2023 to September 2023. Prior roles include Service Mapping Officer and Protection and Rule of Law Assistant at the International Rescue Committee from September 2019 to September 2022, and Volunteer Lawyer at Lang'ata Legal Aid Centre in early 2019. Earlier experience includes positions at The East African Centre for Human Rights as an Assistant Programme Officer, Project Officer at Community Aid International, and multiple roles at Kituo Cha Sheria, including Assistant Program Officer, Volunteer Law Student, and Intern. Jodom holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Nairobi, completed in 2012.
