Associate Director Of Software Development at FreedomPay

Paul Hartzler has extensive work experience in the field of software development and management. Paul currently holds the position of Associate Director of Software Development at FreedomPay since April 2022.

Prior to this, Paul worked at Sabre Systems Inc. for nearly nine years, starting in May 2013 and leaving in November 2021. During their time at Sabre Systems, they served as the Director of Software Development and managed IT application delivery for the commercial division. Their focus was on developing cloud solutions, particularly on SharePoint Online. Paul successfully completed various projects, including the development of a capital control cost reporting system for Baxter International, an issue reporting system for the city of Allentown, a control system for taxi and limo drivers for the Philadelphia Parking Authority, and an operations control system for Asplundh Tree Experts.

Before joining Sabre Systems Inc., Paul held the position of Director of Application Development at PrintMail Systems from September 2012 to February 2013.

From August 2011 to September 2012, Paul was the Director of Application Solutions at Brookfield Residential Property Services. During this time, they achieved significant productivity increases and implemented new analysis processes that resulted in a 20% annualized increase in productivity. Paul was promoted to the position of Director of Application Delivery in January 2012, overseeing global teams consisting of Application Developers, System Analysts, ETL Specialists, Quality Assurance Analysts, Solution Architects, and Release Managers.

Paul also has experience working at GMAC ResCap as an IT Software Development Manager from March 2004 to November 2008. Paul held the position of IT Consultant at DuPont from November 2001 to March 2004.

Before their time in corporate IT, Paul was the President/Owner of Routine Solutions Inc from 1994 to 2003.

Paul began their career at Equibank (DE) N.A. as a Bankcard Accounting Manager in 1985 and later served as Vice President at Applied Card Systems from 1988 to 1994.

Paul Hartzler attended Lehigh University from 1981 to 1985, majoring in Electrical Engineering. Paul obtained their degree from Lehigh University during this time period.

In addition to their formal education, Paul also obtained several certifications from Microsoft. In May 2016, they received the certification of MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional. In August 2016, they obtained the certification of MCSD: Web Applications. In September 2016, they received the certification of MCSD: App Builder. Lastly, they also obtained the certification of MS: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3 in May 2016.
