Yutaka Hashimoto

Yutaka Hashimoto is currently the Chief Risk-management Officer at freee 株式会社 since January 2022. Prior to this role, Yutaka held various positions at Sumitomo Corporation from April 2004 to December 2021, including Assistant to General Manager in the Legal Dept. and Legal Compliance Dept., Senior Manager in the Legal Dept., and Assistant to General Manager in the Legal Dept. Yutaka completed a Master of Laws (LLM) at Northwestern University in 2013 and received a Certificate in Business Administration from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management in the same year. Yutaka also holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) in Environmental law from Sophia University, completed in 2004.
