Bryce Romig is an accomplished environmental professional with extensive experience in remediation projects and environmental management. Currently serving as the Director of Remediation Projects at Freeport-McMoRan since September 2005, Bryce oversees environmental remediation activities across various federal and state programs, leading a team of project managers and coordinating with multiple stakeholders. Prior roles include Manager for Administration and Special Projects, managing operational activities for mine sites in Colorado, and Manager of Environment, Land and Water, focusing on environmental compliance and risk management. Previous experience includes serving as Environmental Manager for Discontinued Operations at Phelps Dodge, where Bryce managed environmental stewardship at multiple sites, and as an Environmental Scientist at Phelps Dodge and Cyprus Amax, overseeing compliance and technical development. Bryce holds a Master’s degree in Land Rehabilitation from Montana State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Forest Resources Science from the University of Idaho.
