Eric Kong

Eric Kong has a diverse work experience in various fields. Eric worked as a Project Engineer at Freese and Nichols, where they focused on design work related to water/wastewater treatment, transmission, and utilities. Eric gained experience in chemical feed systems and water quality evaluations.

Eric also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The University of Texas at Austin, collaborating with Dr. Desmond Lawler and Dr. Lynn Katz.

Eric started their career as a Project Intern at AECOM and later served as a Teaching Assistant for the "Introduction to Engineering" course at Texas A&M University. In this role, they guided students in problem-solving and project implementation.

Additionally, Eric has worked as a Materials Technician at GME Consulting Services and as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University for both the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Chemical Engineering. In these positions, they supported multiple graduate students and researchers in various research projects.

Eric Kong completed their Master of Science degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, where they studied from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their academic qualifications, Eric also holds a Professional Engineer (PE) certification obtained from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors in April 2022.
