Arif Nuri began their career in 2011 as a Product Tester at Nike. In 2015, they moved to the University of Maryland as a Senior Year Experience Coordinator. In 2017, they joined The Johns Hopkins University as an Assistant Director for Regional, Student, and Young Alumni Programs. In 2019, they were appointed as the Assistant Director of Development, Leadership Annual Giving at The Ohio State University, where they secured donor support of $5.5M+ for diversity & inclusion initiatives, scholarships, medicine, and climate change research. Arif also co-led in the creation of a strategic fundraising plan for the Byrd Polar & Climate Research Center and future Netflix film, Canary. In 2020, they became a Major Gifts Officer at the League of Women Voters. Currently, they are an Account Executive | Partner Lead at FreeWill.
Arif Nuri began their education in 2011 when they attended The Ohio State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Affairs with a minor in Leadership Studies and a focus on Education Policy. Arif then attended the University of Maryland, where they earned a Master's degree in Higher Education/Higher Education Administration in 2017. In 2018, they attended The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School and obtained an Executive Certificate in Business Communication.
