Alaeddine Mokri

Alaeddine Mokri has a diverse work experience in the software engineering and clean energy industries. Alaeddine is currently the Director of Software Engineering at FreeWire Technologies since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Shell as a Technical Lead and Principal Software Engineer, leading the development of a service for aggregating retail tariff data and a SaaS product for clean-energy projects. Alaeddine also worked at X, the moonshot factory, as a Software Engineer, where they were a founding engineer in Google's smart-grid team. Additionally, they served as the Director of Web Products at HST Solar, leading the software development of a cloud computing platform for utility-scale PV design and engineering. Alaeddine also worked as the Director of Digital Products at Village Power Finance, where they led the development of multiple SaaS platforms for clean energy projects. In the early stages of their career, they conducted research as a Research Assistant at Khalifa University and as a Research Associate at NASA, focusing on solar cell design and 3rd generation solar cells.
