Kent Bakker

Kent Bakker is the Team Lead of Customer Success at FreightWaves. Kent has been with the company since September 2021 and in their current position since January 2022. Prior to that, they were an Enterprise Customer Success Manager from February 2020 to September 2021, a Customer Success Manager from July 2019 to February 2020, and a Manager of Business Development from March 2019 to July 2019. Kent also worked as a SONAR Account Executive from July 2018 to March 2019.

Before joining FreightWaves, Kent worked at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. as a Sr. Logistics Solutions Representative from June 2018 to March 2019 and as a Sr Logistics Sales Coordinator from January 2016 to June 2018. Kent also worked as a Logistics Sales Coordinator from January 2015 to January 2016 and as a Carrier Sales Coordinator - RISE program from November 2013 to December 2014.

Kent began their career in 2012 with an internship as a Technical and Sales Technician at Automated Business Machines. Kent later became a Sales / Service Technician at the company from August 2013 to November 2013.

Kent Bakker received their BS in Business Administration from John Brown University and their Small Business Administration/Management from Calvin College.
