Josh Maisel

Josh Maisel has extensive work experience in the education sector. Josh started their career at Fremont Union High School District in 2001, where they held various roles including Social Science and English Teacher, New Teacher Advisor, and Program Administrator for Educational Options. In 2013, they became the Coordinator of Academic Interventions at the same district. Most recently, since July 2022, Josh has been serving as the Director of Leadership Development, where they are responsible for developing and implementing an administrator support and accountability system, managing the New Teacher Induction Program, and supporting professional and leadership development across the district.

Josh Maisel earned a Bachelor's Degree in Public Policy from Stanford University between 1991 and 1995. Josh later pursued a Master's Degree in Education, which they obtained from Stanford University during the academic year 2000-2001.
