Maya Ait Hamou

Maya Ait Hamou has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. In 2023, they worked as the Director of Business Development at FrenchFounders. Prior to that, in 2021, they founded their own company called MAYSCONES. From 2019 to 2021, Maya was a Senior Sales Account Executive at Welcome to the Jungle France, where they built quality relationships between candidates and companies in the recruitment field. In 2018, they worked as a Policy Officer - Legal Protection & Human Rights at the United Nations. Maya researched human rights violations against migrants and refugees and implemented successful advocacy strategies. From 2016 to 2018, Maya served as the Executive Manager at the Lebanese Center for Human Rights (CLDH). In 2015, they were a Project Manager at IECD - Institut Européen de Coopération et de Développement, and in 2014, they worked as a Development Associate at Human Rights Watch. Maya also has internship experience, having worked as a Crisis Prevention and Recovery intern at UNDP in 2013 and as a Project Assistant at AUF in 2012.

Maya Ait Hamou has an extensive education history. Maya obtained a Master's Degree in Intercultural Management and Translation from ISIT, studying from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Arabic Language and Literature, with a focus on Middle Eastern geopolitics, from Saint Joseph University of Beirut, studying from 2009 to 2012. In 2008 to 2009, Maya studied English Linguistics at The University of Sheffield.

Additionally, Maya has obtained several certifications to further enhance their skills. In May 2013, they received a "Certificado de Español Comercial" from the Chambre Officielle de Commerce d'Espagne en France - COCEF. Furthermore, in April 2011, they earned a Diploma in Business English from the Franco-British Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
