Tomas Burotto Clement

Tomas Burotto Clement has a diverse range of work experience. Tomas started their career in 2017 as a Teaching Assistant for "Introduction to Programming" at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, where they supported students with their assignments and helped them understand the fundamentals of programming. From 2019 to 2020, they continued their teaching assistant role at the same university, but this time for the "Software Engineer" course, where they provided support in software development labs and issue-solving for students.

In 2020, Tomas worked as an Aeronautical Mechanic Assistant at Club De Planeadores De Vitacura for a short period. Later that year, they joined Beetrack - DispatchTrack as an Intern Developer, responsible for developing and implementing a developer portal app from scratch using Ruby on Rails and ReactJS. This platform successfully attracted more than 500 registered users, providing them with easy access to API documentation, code samples, and technical support resources.

From 2021 to 2023, Tomas worked as a Software Engineer at Beetrack - DispatchTrack, focusing on the growth and development of the company's internal software. Their responsibilities included automating organizational processes and developing an internal ERP system for processing invoicing and payments for customers.

Currently, Tomas is working as an Operations Specialist at Fresh People, starting in May 2023. No end date has been provided for this position.

Tomas Burotto Clement has a diverse education history. Tomas completed their MSc in Digital Business & Innovation at IE Business School from 2022 to 2023. Before that, they obtained a B.S. in Industrial Engineering with a focus on Information Technologies from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, graduating between 2015 and 2021. Prior to their university studies, Tomas attended Lycée Antoine de Saint-Exupéry de Santiago, where they completed their high school education from 2000 to 2014.

In addition to their formal education, Tomas has also obtained several certifications. In December 2021, they completed the "Getting Started with Google Kubernetes Engine" course offered by Coursera. In December 2014, they received the "Diplôme du Baccalauréat Général Scientifique" from the Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Jeunesse. Furthermore, in June 2022, they obtained an English Proficiency Certificate through the Duolingo English Test.
