Piotr Kowalczyk

Piotr Kowalczyk is a seasoned technology professional with significant experience in the beauty and wellness industry, currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Tech Lead at Fresha since December 2017. Piotr has played a pivotal role in the company's growth by developing core product functionality and transitioning the platform from a Ruby on Rails monolith to a React.js and Redux single-page application architecture. Additionally, Piotr has experience in mobile app development using Cordova and has implemented continuous delivery processes through the optimization of end-to-end testing with Cypress. Prior to Fresha, Piotr worked as a Front End Developer at WebWave CMS, contributing to the development of an interactive website builder and gaining valuable experience in a startup environment. Piotr holds a degree from Szkoła Główna Gospodarstwa Wiejskiego w Warszawie.
