Chris Taranto

Chris Taranto has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Chris started their career as a Nuclear Submarine Officer in the United States Navy from 1992 to 1997. Chris then joined Lutron Electronics and held various roles, including Strategic Category Manager and Global Procurement & Supply Chain Head. From 2007 to 2011, Chris worked at Pfizer as an Associate Director, Global Procurement and later as a Supplier Relationship Director, Global Operations. Most recently, they served as the Vice President of Procurement & Supply Chain at Freshpet, where they held the role from 2014 to the present.

Chris Taranto earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1992. Later, from 1998 to 2001, they attended Lehigh University where they obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance and Supply Chain Management.
