Mohan Mylapalli began their work experience as a Summer Intern at Tata Steel in 2004. Mohan then worked as a Software Engineer at Virtusa from 2005 to 2007. In 2008, they returned to Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited as a Summer Intern. Mohan continued working at Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited as an Assistant Manager in Sales from 2010 to 2012. Mohan then joined airtel, where they held various positions including Manager, Zonal Sales Manager, and Sales & Marketing Head for Airtel Money in Gujarat from 2012 to 2015. Mohan then transitioned to Airtel Payments Bank, where they served as Regional Manager for Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, and Andhra Pradesh & Telangana from 2015 to 2020. In 2020, Mohan co-founded Freshby, a company they worked for until the end of 2020. Since 2021, they have been working at FreshToHome Foods Private Ltd as a Business Head. In 2023, they will join finemake as their Business Head.

Mohan Mylapalli has a diverse education history spanning various fields. Mohan completed the Business Managers Development Program at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad in 2015, focusing on General Management. Prior to that, they pursued a PGDM degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Indore from 2007 to 2009, specializing in Marketing, Finance, Operations, and HR. In 2005, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) degree in Metallurgical Engineering & Material Science from the National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. Before entering college, Mohan completed their XII degree from Sainik School Korukonda, where they studied Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Computer Science. Mohan also received their primary education from Atomic Energy Central School, completing their I - VIII degrees.

In addition to their formal education, Mohan Mylapalli has obtained several certifications.
