Prakash Ramamurthy is the current Chief Product Officer at Freshworks. Prior to this, they served as a board member at from July 2019 to April 2021. Before that, Ramamurthy was with States Title as well as Oracle, where they served as the SVP Product Development and GM of Systems Management & Security Products for the Oracle Cloud from October 2013 to December 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the P&L, product strategy, engineering & operations, product management, UX design, customer success, business development, go-to-market and field enablement for a global team of ~1400 people spread across multiple locations worldwide.

During their time at Oracle, Ramamurthy helped conceive and bring to market a brand new set of cloud services with a first-to-market, integrated platform that uses machine learning against petabytes of data to derive actionable insights and provide rapid diagnostics for application performance and cybersecurity issues. Prakash also led a 1000+ engineering team to build services that continually ingest and process extremely high volumes of structured and unstructured data. In addition, they oversaw the go-to-market and customer adoption teams that enabled the first several hundred customers to successfully go live and become references. Under their leadership, the organization transformed from an on premise packaged software focus to building and operating one of the fastest growing Software as a Services in Oracle Cloud. These services are globally deployed in over 18 regions worldwide.

Prakash Ramamurthy has a B.E in Computer Science from the College of Engineering, Guindy and an M.S in Computer Engineering from Boston University.
