Ram Venkatachalam

Ram Venkatachalam serves as the Head of Corporate Development at Freshworks since August 2025, following a role at Hewlett Packard Enterprise where strategic partnerships for the Hybrid Cloud Business Unit were led. Previously, Ram held advisory positions at AptEdge and Hazelcast, and served as Vice President, Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Delinea. Significant accomplishments include guiding corporate strategy and development at Delinea, leading Series C investments at Pensando Systems, and managing multiple high-profile M&A transactions during tenures at Merrill Lynch and BMO Capital Markets. Ram holds an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Finance, Accounting, and Entrepreneurship, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University.
