Stephen Root is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in brand strategy and integrated campaigns. Currently serving as the Global Head of Brand and Integrated Campaigns at Freshworks since February 2024, Root has previously held significant roles at Atlassian, Intuit, and Visa. At Atlassian, Root led initiatives to elevate brand messaging and awareness, while at Intuit, Root developed comprehensive marketing strategies for its cornerstone brands. A long tenure at Visa included leadership in global marketing strategies and client relationships, as well as specialized roles within the Asia Pacific region. Prior experience also encompasses senior positions at consulting firms Prophet Brand Strategy and Sterling Brand Strategy, alongside early career roles at Hambrecht & Quist, Oracle, and Xerox. Root holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Harvard University.
