Nelson Claytor

Nelson Claytor has extensive experience in leadership and governance across various technology and arts sectors. At Fresnel Technologies, Inc., Nelson has served since June 1996, holding positions as President and Vice President. Currently, Nelson is the Director at Ascentia Imaging and has been actively involved with Fort Worth Opera since January 2017 in multiple roles, including Member and Chair of the Board of Trustees. As Vice President and Co-founder of the Optical Society of North Texas, Nelson also contributes to the local scientific community. Previous board service includes TECH Fort Worth, and Nelson's early career includes a postdoctoral fellowship at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Academically, Nelson holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley.
