Aaron Joshua Asparin is an accomplished undergraduate researcher and leader in the field of biochemistry at California State University, Fresno. With experience as an intern in the Chemistry & Biochemistry Department, conducting research on cognitive neuropsychology under Dr. Ellen Woo, and studying neurodegenerative diseases in collaboration with Dr. David Lent, Aaron actively contributes to scientific knowledge. As an ambassador and mentor for the Health Career Opportunities Program, Aaron advocates for health-pathway students, creating opportunities for internships and educational outreach. Leadership roles include serving as President of Le Cercle Francais and the American Medical Student Association, as well as Vice President of the Smittcamp Family Honors College, focusing on academic excellence and cultural inclusivity in STEM. Aaron's dedication to community engagement and student support is evident through initiatives at the Center for Advanced Research and Technology and involvement in the Dean's Student Advisory Circle.
