Alessandro Marchi

Alessandro Marchi has a diverse work experience across various industries. Alessandro is currently working as a Production Group Lead II at Freudenberg Medical since August 2022. Prior to this, they served as a Team Lead Nights at Creganna Medical from July 2018 to August 2022, where they played a crucial role in ensuring smooth operations, high-quality standards, and provided support in multiple areas such as EH&S, HR, and Tech Support. Alessandro also worked as a Production Operator at Medtronic from December 2017 to July 2018.

Before entering the medical industry, Alessandro gained expertise in the hospitality sector. Alessandro served as an Operations Manager at Sheraton Hotels & Resorts from December 2016 to December 2017, where they assisted the General Manager in coordinating hotel operations and managing training and H&S. Prior to this, they worked as a Food and Beverage Manager at The Ardilaun Hotel **** from January 2016 to December 2016, focusing on improving service standards, cost control, customer service, and revenue. Alessandro also held the position of Food and Beverage Manager at Athlone Springs Hotel from January 2015 to January 2016, where their main focus was on enhancing service standards, customer service, and revenue generation.

Their early work experience includes the role of Bars Manager at Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Galway from February 2012 to January 2015. Alessandro was responsible for managing multiple bars and staff, increasing revenue, controlling labor costs, and improving service standards. Alessandro also worked as a Bar Manager at Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Dublin City from October 2010 to July 2012, where they played a significant role in elevating the revenue of the hotel's concept bar and developing it as a cocktail bar.

Alessandro Marchi has a diverse education history. In 1993 to 1999, they attended ITC A. Meucci, where they obtained a Diploma of Education in Accounting and Computer Programming. From 2011 to 2012, Alessandro attended the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group and completed a Management Development Program (MDP) in Business Administration and Management, General. In 2020 to 2021, they pursued a University Certificate of Study Module in Lean & Operational Excellence OpEx (Yellow Belt) at the Institute of Technology, Sligo. In 2021, they further enhanced their knowledge by completing a University Certificate of Study Module in Lean Thinking/Lean Tools (Green Belt) at the University of Limerick. Alessandro is currently attending the Institute of Technology, Sligo for a Medical Technology Regulatory Affairs and Operations - Cert L8 degree in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology/Technologist, which started in 2022 and is expected to conclude in 2023.
