Padraig Spain

Padraig Spain has diverse work experience in the field of quality engineering and assurance. Padraig started their career at Medtronic Galway as a Medical Device Technician from November 2006 to August 2008. Padraig then joined Lynch Oil as a Health and Safety Consultant from October 2009 to February 2010, where they conducted risk assessments and provided safety recommendations. Padraig worked at Healthcare Informed as a Quality Administrator from October 2010 to March 2011, setting up data systems for hospitals and compiling quality documents. Padraig then became part of the startup team at American Medical Systems, where they worked as an Operations Specialist from July 2011 to November 2014, ensuring the smooth running of production processes and training staff. At Abbott, Padraig held multiple roles, including Diagnostic Technologist (Quality Assurance) from November 2014 to November 2017, Senior Diagnostic Technologist (Quality Assurance) from November 2017 to December 2018, and Quality Control Stability Manager (Technical Specialist) from January 2019 to January 2020. Padraig then joined Boston Scientific as a Quality Engineer TAVR from January 2020 to August 2022, conducting post-market surveillance, performing risk assessments, and analyzing complaint data. Currently, Padraig is working as a Quality Engineer II at Freudenberg Medical.
