J. Luis Martínez- Zaporta

J. Luis Martínez-Zaporta is an experienced international biodiversity consultant currently working with Friends of the Earth Europe since August 2020, focusing on coordinating biodiversity-related actions at national and local levels. As Country Program Manager in Spain for True Nature Foundation since January 2013, J. Luis manages projects aimed at ecosystem rehabilitation and promoting a sustainable economic model through conservation efforts. Prior experience includes directorship at 7Valles, where J. Luis led environmental consulting services, and roles as an Environmental Educator with TRAGSA and as a Teacher at Instituto IDEA, alongside field technician work on the European Mink Reintroduction Project. J. Luis holds an Executive MBA from CESTE and a Master's in Biodiversity's Evolution & Conservation from Universitat de Barcelona, complemented by a background in zoology and biological sciences.
