Kelly McNamara

Kelly McNamara is a seasoned professional specializing in research and policy analysis with a strong focus on sustainable food systems and alternative proteins. Currently serving as a Senior Research and Policy Analyst at Friends of the Earth since May 2022, Kelly collaborates with diverse teams to redirect institutional investment towards environmentally sustainable food production. Previous roles include ESG Consultant at The Good Food Institute, where Kelly helped develop a proprietary ESG framework for alternative proteins, and Associate at Vegan Capital SA, engaging in research related to investment risks in animal agriculture. An accomplished writer and editor with experience at Round Table Companies and Scribe Media, Kelly has also contributed to Harvard Business School case studies.
