Josh Stevens

Josh Stevens has a diverse work experience, starting with their role as the Director of Operations at Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) since 2018. In this position, they collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to develop strategies, manage financial goals, and support the nonprofit organization. Prior to this, they held roles within FIDF as the Interim Director and Associate Director of the Washington DC Chapter, where they successfully engaged donors and cultivated support for the organization. Before joining FIDF, Josh worked as the Senior Regional Director at BBYO from 2015 to 2018. Josh also gained experience in education as a Fifth Grade Teacher at Montgomery County Public Schools from 2006 to 2015. Additionally, they served as a Village Leader at Capital Camps & Retreat Center from 2012 to 2014.

Josh Stevens has a Bachelor of Arts - BA degree in Psychology from the University of Maryland, earned between 1999 and 2003. Josh pursued further education at Trinity Washington University and obtained a Master's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from 2003 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Josh has also pursued additional certifications, including "Diversity, Inclusion, & Belonging: A Manager's Guide" and "Managing in Multi-Generational Workplace: Managing Diversity" from Udemy, both of which they attained in July 2023.
