Gabriela Carballo

Gabriela Carballo has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Gabriela'smost recent position was as the Social Media Manager & Copywriting at Friendship Circle of Michigan since May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at Cottage Inn Pizza Corp. from May 2021 to May 2023.

Earlier in their career, they held the position of Curatorial Assistant at Ballroom Marfa from November 2016 to January 2022. Before that, they were a Gallery Administrator at Marfa Contemporary from September 2014 to November 2016. Additionally, they worked as a Curatorial Intern at the El Paso Museum of Art from December 2013 to February 2014.

Gabriela also has experience as a Graphic Designer / Metalsmith at The University of Texas at El Paso from August 2011 to December 2013. Gabriela held intern roles as an Education & Outreach intern at the Chinati Foundation from March 2013 to August 2013, and as an Assistant Coordinator at ICHICULT from September 2011 to November 2011.

Throughout their career, Gabriela has demonstrated skills in social media management, copywriting, marketing, curatorial work, graphic design, and coordination.

From 2007 to 2013, Gabriela Carballo attended The University of Texas at El Paso, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Graphic Design/Metals.
