David Lubar

David Lubar is the current Director at Froedtert Health. Prior to this, they worked as a SAS Programmer at Univita Health Inc from January 2011 to January 2012 and as a Software Engineer, Business Intelligence at Assurant Health from November 2006 to November 2009.

At Univita Health Inc, David was responsible for supporting the Risk Management data warehouse needs and system support, generating compliance reports, and managing increasingly larger projects.

At Assurant Health, David was a key member of the team charged with defining and testing CRM portals utilized by agents, providers, and customers to instantly access coverage, premium, and claims information. David also performed troubleshooting, research, and testing to validate data integrity. One of their most notable projects was successfully leading the implementation of a system that was on time and within budget.

David has also been credited with developing a system report utilized by a .NET application to improve automated updating of underwriting data with information provided by external partners - a project which contributed to realized cost savings. In addition, they played a lead role in defining requirements to convert a group of voluntary products to the company's web-based underwriting system - an improvement which increased productivity and quality while also enhancing the company's web presence.

At Assurant Health, David partnered with Data Stage developers to define and implement solutions to improve data integrity and increase data warehouse performance. David also collaborated with the risk department to define & develop project requirements, implement & verify changes, and provide training for underwriting system enhancements. Furthermore, they were an active participant in developing data warehouse data dictionaries as a foundation for end user reporting across the company.

Lastly, David developed regression test plans and maintained existing testing initiatives which resulted in significantly reduced defects.

David Lubar earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. David also holds certification from Epic in Epic Radiant and Cupid Data Model.
