Richard E. Muise

Richard E. Muise, MBA, AvMP has extensive experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on airport operations. Richard E. currently holds the position of Senior Director, Airport Operations and Planning at Frontier Airlines. In this role, they are responsible for the strategic and tactical leadership of the airline's domestic and international field stations. Muise also provides leadership to the Airport Planning organization, overseeing various departments such as Airport Standards, Training, Policies and Procedures, ACS Projects and Analytics, Quality Control, and Baggage Recovery groups. Prior to joining Frontier Airlines, Muise worked at American Airlines as the Director of Operations for EMEA and Canada from 2017 to 2020, and as the Director of Operations for Canada from 2014 to 2017. Richard E. also held various management roles at US Airways, including General Manager positions in Fort Lauderdale and Denver, and Senior Manager roles in International Operations. Richard E. also completed a certificate program in Doing Business in China from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS). In addition, Muise holds a certification as an Aviation Management Professional (AvMP) from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which they obtained in 2013.
