Hazel Nevak

Hazel Nevak is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive experience in various roles within the health sector. Currently serving as a Community Health Representative for the Valdez Native Tribe since May 2022, Hazel has also worked as a Direct Support Professional for Frontier Community Services, Inc. and a PCA for Connecting Ties Inc. Hazel's past experience includes providing caregiving services in a private practice and facilitating adult basic education classes at Yuut Elitnaurviat. Previous positions as a Physician Assistant at South Central Foundation and Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation involved patient care and training Community Health Aides. Early in the career as a Community Health Practitioner, Hazel managed patient care in a village clinic setting. Hazel's education includes an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Physician Assistant from the University of Washington, along with an Associate's Degree in Community Health from the University of Fairbanks-KUC.
