Reed Stein has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. They began their career as a Summer Research Intern at Mayo Clinic in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Summer Undergraduate Research Fellow at Mayo Clinic and as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at W.M Keck Science Department. Reed then joined The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center as a Research Assistant I in 2013. In 2014, they started working at the University of California, San Francisco as a Graduate Student, a role they held until 2020. They then joined Denali Therapeutics as a Scientist in 2020, before moving on to become a Scientist I and later a Scientist II at Frontier Medicines, where they currently work.
Reed Stein's education history begins in 2009 when they enrolled in Pitzer College. Reed pursued a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in Molecular Biology and completed their degree in 2013. Following this, Reed pursued further education at the University of California, San Francisco from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences & Pharmacogenomics.
