Alexander Watson, MPH

Alexander Watson, MPH has a range of work experience in public health and epidemiology. In 2019, they interned as an Epidemiological Intern at the New York State Department of Health, where they worked on healthcare facility surveillance and containment of outbreaks. In 2020, they served as a Student Teaching Assistant at the University at Buffalo, assisting in teaching a public health course. Alexander also worked as an Epidemiological Assistant at the New York State Department of Health, where they contributed to disease surveillance and COVID-19 response efforts. In 2021, they joined Public Consulting Group as a Community Support Specialist, leading a team of contact tracers in controlling the spread of COVID-19 and providing social services to those in quarantine. Their most recent position is as a Protocol Data Manager at Frontier Science & Technology Research Foundation, Inc. (FSTRF).

Alexander Watson obtained their Master's degree in Public Health from the University at Buffalo between 2018 and 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology, with a minor in Biology, at SUNY Geneseo from 2013 to 2017. Alexander had previously earned their High School Diploma from St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute from 2009 to 2013.
