Jakob Bech Lauritsen

Jakob Bech Lauritsen has extensive work experience in various management and leadership roles. Jakob Bech is currently the Director of Strategic Projects at Frontmatec since November 2021. Prior to that, they were the Site Director at Frontmatec from August 2020 to October 2021. Before joining Frontmatec, Jakob worked at Union Engineering a/s, where they held roles such as Site Leader & Supply Chain Manager, General Manager, and Commissioning Manager. At Union Engineering, they were responsible for P&L, project execution, and growth strategy. Prior to that, they worked at MASENTIA as the Director of Customer Service, where they led the growth of service sales and developed real-time service report software. Jakob Bech has also worked at Gumlink A/S, where they held roles such as Senior Manager Production, Senior Manager Maintenance, and Production Engineer. At Gumlink A/S, they focused on improving productivity, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and leading teams. Jakob started their career at Amcor flexible as a Project Manager in Customer Affairs, where they led the implementation of packaging concepts and managed customer service for global key accounts.

Jakob Bech Lauritsen has a diverse education history. Jakob Bech obtained a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (B-ME) from VIA University College from 1992 to 1996. Prior to that, they completed an apprenticeship as a Machine Fitter at Schur Packaging System A/S from 1988 to 1992. Throughout their career, they pursued various courses in Engineering Business Administration (EBA) at VIA University College. These courses include Business/Managerial Economics, Strategic Marketing, Cost Accounting, Strategy, Organisation and Management, and Management, Communication and Team relations. Lauritsen also completed an Executive MBA in Master in Management of Technology (MMT) from Aalborg University from 2011 to 2013.
