Sergio Andrés Velandia Cetina

Sergio Andrés Velandia Cetina has a strong background in legal and corporate affairs. Sergio Andrés currently serves as the Legal Vice President at Frubana, a position they have held since October 2023. In this role, Sergio is responsible for leading capital raising initiatives and managing contractual, labor, and data protection matters across Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, the United States, and Mexico. Prior to joining Frubana, Sergio was the Head of Legal LATAM at the same company, where they oversaw legal affairs, including fundraising and contract management, from January 2022 to October 2023. Before that, Sergio worked as an Associate Corporate M&A at Brigard & Urrutia, where they coordinated venture capital and entrepreneurship initiatives and participated in various M&A and private equity transactions in different industries. From January 2016 to October 2017, Sergio worked as a Lawyer at Valencia Botero Abogados, specializing in corporate and tax law, leading initiatives related to asset reorganizations and estate planning.

Sergio Andrés Velandia Cetina completed their education as follows:

- From 2017 to 2018, they pursued a Post Graduate Degree in Tax at Universidad de Los Andes, specializing in Tax Law/Taxation.

- From 2010 to 2015, they obtained a Pregrado degree in both Political Science and Law at Universidad de Los Andes.

- Prior to that, from 1998 to 2010, they completed their Bachillerato degree in Social Sciences at Colegio San Mateo Apóstol.
