Katlego Bolsiek has a strong background in risk management, with experience in the financial sector, insurance industry, and consulting. Currently holding a senior management position at the Financial Sector Conduct Authority, Katlego has also worked at organizations such as The South African Insurance Association, Road Accident Fund, Deloitte, and MTN. Katlego has a degree in Quantitative Risk Management, Mathematics, and Statistics from North West University, as well as completed a Management Advancement Programme at Wits Business School. Katlego's expertise lies in governance, risk, assurance, and operational risk management within capital markets.
FSCA South Africa
The FSCA's mandate is to enhance the efficiency and integrity of financial markets; promote fair customer treatment by financial institutions; provide financial education and promote financial literacy; and assist in maintaining financial stability in South Africa. This is in line with the Twin Peaks model of financial sector regulations, as envisioned in the Financial Sector Act 2017 (FSRA).
