Ian Watkins

Ian Watkins is an experienced professional in the field of explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) and improvised explosive device disposal (IEDD), currently serving as a Senior Technical Advisor at FSD (Fondation suisse de déminage) since December 2022. Previously, Ian held senior advisory and leadership roles at various organizations including B&S Europe and Tetra Tech, where responsibilities included team leadership and technical guidance. Ian's extensive career began in the British Army, culminating in a 24-year tenure with the Royal Logistics Corps, where Ian achieved the rank of Warrant Officer Class Two and honed operational and training skills in ammunition safety and management. Ian's educational background includes a BSc in Sociology & Social Policy from The Open University and specialized training at the Army School of Ammunition.
