Dennis Ezaga

Dennis Ezaga has a diverse work experience in the banking sector, spanning over two decades. Dennis is currently serving as the Head of Business Banking at FSDH Merchant Bank since September 2021. Prior to this, they held various positions at First City Monument Bank Limited (FCMB) from 2006 to 2021. These roles include Head of Digital Innovation, Business Banking Group, Group Head of Transaction Banking Products, and Regional Head of Sales for Transaction Banking in Abuja and Northern Nigeria. Before joining FCMB, they worked at Oceanic Bank International Nigeria PLC as the Head of Western Union Money Transfer Operations and Head of Operations at the Aspamda branch. Throughout their career, Dennis has demonstrated expertise in digital innovation, business development, customer acquisition, and strategic partnerships, contributing to the growth and profitability of the banks they have worked for.

Dennis Ezaga holds a Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Advanced Artificial Intelligence and The Future of Automation from Nexford University, which they pursued from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management from the University of Calabar in 2000. Dennis'sundergraduate education was completed at the University of Benin, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Physics from 1988 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Dennis Ezaga has acquired several certifications throughout their career. These include being an Honorary Senior Member of The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN) in 2022, a Fellow of the Institute of Credit Administration of Nigeria from 2015, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Finance and Control of Nigeria from 2013, and a Lead Auditor for NIS ISO Quality Management System accredited by the Standards Organization of Nigeria in 2008.
