Joe Houk

Joe Houk, P.G. is a Senior Engineering Geologist at FTC Solar, Inc. since May 2023, and has been the Geotechnical Services Manager at Solar FlexRack since September 2012, where responsibilities include solar foundation piling design, digital data acquisition, load testing, and geotechnical consultation. Prior experience includes serving as Land Development Manager at Winchester Homes, Inc. from October 2003 to May 2008, focusing on land development and infrastructure for residential communities in Northern Virginia, and as a Senior Project Geologist at WDP & Associates, Inc. from January 1997 to April 2001, overseeing project management for commercial and residential projects. Joe Houk holds education from Virginia Tech and Youngstown.
