Egan has held positions as a CQV Engineer at WuXi Biologics and Bristol-Myers Squibb, and as a Process Validation Engineer at Pfizer Italia. Previous experience includes leading roles in validation consulting for companies such as Novo Nordisk A/S, Merck, Johnson & Johnson, and GlaxoSmithKline. Egan holds a BSc in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics from the University of the West of Scotland, obtained between 1985 and 1988.
