Maria Ord McIpd

Maria Ord MCIPD is an experienced Senior HR professional with a strong background in the pharmaceutical and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Head of HR & OD at FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies since January 2019, Maria leads the People Strategy and oversees operational and strategic projects while acting as a key member of the Delivery Leadership Team. Prior to this role, Maria was an HR Business Partner at Livin Housing from March 2009 to January 2019, where effective HR service delivery and key project implementation were paramount, including the launch of flexible benefits and new HR/Payroll systems. Maria's career began at Sedgefield Borough Council, serving in various HR roles from February 2002 to March 2009. Maria obtained a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from the University of Sunderland in 2009.
