Ishmael Ordonez

Ishmael Ordonez, PhD has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Currently, they serve as the R&D Manager in the Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT) Services division at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific. Ishmael also holds a position as an Adjunct Professor at Biola University.

Prior to their current roles, Dr. Ordonez worked at MilliporeSigma as a Technical Services Scientist, specializing in Chemistry and Advanced Analytics. Ishmael has also served as the Director of Business Operations at BIGBOSS Cement Inc, where they successfully led the organization in producing, marketing, and selling cement.

In addition, Dr. Ordonez has held leadership positions at International Care Ministries, where they served as both the Chief Programs Officer and the Chief Administrative Officer. At VuQo Inc., they worked as a Technical Consultant, and at Diageo, they held the position of Senior Manager in Asia Pacific Technical Development.

Earlier in their career, Dr. Ordonez worked at United Laboratories, Inc. as the Division Vice President for Quality, overseeing quality operations and supporting new product development. Ishmael also worked at ON Semiconductor as the Technology Operations Department Head, leading R&D and technology development activities.

Dr. Ordonez began their career at Motorola, where they served as the Manager of the Core Technology Group and participated in the Cadre 2000 Leadership Development Program.

Throughout their career, Dr. Ordonez has achieved notable accomplishments, including establishing BIGBOSS Cement Inc. as the only green cement producer in the country and setting up a cement grinding facility. Ishmael also designed and operated a regional Science & Technology Center at Diageo and recruited a team of scientists and engineers at ON Semiconductor.

Ishmael Ordonez, PhD, has a diverse education history in the field of Chemistry. Ishmael pursued their PhD at Concordia University, where they specialized in Chemistry. Prior to their doctoral studies, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemistry at McGill University.
