James Thien T.

James Thien T. has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of science and research. From 2022 to present, they work as an R&D Scientist at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific, focusing on developing embryo culture media for in vitro fertilization (IVF). Prior to that, James worked at PAE as a Biological Scientist and later as a Molecular Biologist, where they handled and processed samples potentially containing biological threat agents, utilizing microbiological and molecular techniques for identification and characterization. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at AnaptysBio as a Research Associate, primarily performing aseptic cell culture and transient transfection. James Thien also has experience as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at Western University of Health Sciences, where they conducted research on macrophage interferon signaling and differentiation. James began their career as a Laboratory Assistant at UC Irvine, where they provided animal husbandry care, prepared reagents, and maintained housekeeping for mice.
