Steve Geimer

Steve Geimer has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Steve currently holds the position of Executive Director, Medical Business Unit at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific since February 2021. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2020, they served as a Lecturer (Adjunct Faculty) at JOHNS HOPKINS UNIVERSITY, Zanvyl Krieger School of Arts & Sciences while also working as an Independent Consultant.

Before that, Steve worked at HemoCue AB, where they held various roles, including Vice President of Sales and General Manager, North America from 2016 to 2018 and Director, North American Sales from 2012 to 2016, where they successfully turned around a declining business and achieved positive growth.

In addition, they worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Towson University from 2011 to 2012. Prior to that, Steve held significant roles at Becton Dickinson as VP of Sales, Marketing, and Service - Molecular Diagnostics / Women's Health & Cancer from 2008 to 2011, and at DiaSorin as Vice President, North American Sales, Marketing, and Service in 2007.

Steve also served as Vice President; Worldwide Sales, Marketing, and Service at Diagnostic HYBRIDS from 2005 to 2007 and held a Senior Director position at Digene Corporation from 2002 to 2005. Steve also worked as an Adjunct Faculty at Sacred Heart University from 2000 to 2002.

Prior to that, they held multiple positions at Bayer, including US Marketing Manager from 1994 to 2001 and Manager, Midwest Sales & Service from 1996 to 2000, where they achieved significant sales growth and improved division rankings.

Steve Geimer completed their high school education at Saegertown High School from 1978 to 1982. Steve then attended Gannon University from 1982 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Management. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Eastern Michigan University from 1997 to 1999.
