Vijaykumar Meli

Vijaykumar Meli is currently working as a Sr. Scientist in Cell and Gene Therapy at FUJIFILM Irvine Scientific since August 2022. Before that, they were an Associate Specialist at UC Irvine from January 2016 to October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at UCLA from March 2009 to July 2013.

From 1998 to 2001, Vijaykumar Meli pursued a Master's degree in Genetics and Plant breeding at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad. Following this, from 2001 to 2008, they attended Jawaharlal Nehru Vishvavidyalaya (JNU, Delhi) where they completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology.
